Established in 2008 and sponsored by the University of Michigan MFA Program in Creative Writing, Canarium Books is edited by Joshua Edwards, Robyn Schiff, Nick Twemlow, and Lynn Xu, with the assistance of students, faculty, and staff from the University of Michigan. We are dedicated to publishing poetry by established and emerging authors from the United States and abroad. Our first publication, Canarium 1, includes poems by Ed Roberson, Arda Collins, Takashi Hiraide, Dunya Mikhail, and a dozen other poets whose work exemplifies the attention to which Canarium Books is dedicated. Our first two single-author publications will appear in 2009.
